DFO advises that there will be a Seal Information Session for new
applicants requesting Personal Use Seal licenses at the following
location:
Eastport – Thursday, April 23 at S.U.F. Hall, Eastport, NL.
Session will commence at 7:00 pm.
Monday, April 27 at the Clarenville Inn, Clarenville, NL.
Session will commence at 7pm.
Foxtrap – Thursday, April 30, 2015, Royal Canadian Legion
Session will commence at 7:00 pm
Persons obtaining a new Personal Use Seal Licence must have:
– Proof of age (18 years of age or older)
– A Firearms Safety/Hunter Education Certificate
As with any sealing activity, Personal Use Seal License holders must
follow the Marine Mammal Regulations and conditions of license. All
sealing activity will be monitored by DFO Fishery Officers.
