A Scandinavian supporter of our industry and tradition, Magnus Petersson, sent us a video source showing Finnish seal hunters spending a typical day on a sealing vessel in the Bay of Bothnia. He notes that “unfortunately these products can’t be sold any longer thanks to idiotic laws in the EU (which Finland is part of) so the only used by-products are the ones eaten by the hunters themselves. They still continue sealing as to save the fish from extermination.”  You can view the video on Finnish TV here: http://arenan.yle.fi/1-451362
