logo_FIC_30Ottawa – December 12, 2013: –   The Fur Institute of Canada (FIC) recently contracted  Zveta Global Advisors, Inc. (Zveta) to complete a study regarding the feasibility of establishing an ecologically and economically sustainable industry for grey seal derived products.   The study will be lead by Mr. Suju Mahendrappa, Zveta’s CEO, with support from Ms. Holly Coxworthy.

As part of this study, Zveta will seek to gather data and input from as many sealing and seal product industry stakeholders as possible.  During the coming weeks, Zveta will provide stakeholders with brief surveys that can be submitted anonymously, and will also seek to arrange interviews (by phone and/or face-to-face) meetings with representatives of all stakeholder groups, including scientists, sealers, government officials and processors among others.

FIC and Zveta wish to encourage as many of you as possible to provide data and input as this will bring greater depth and significance to the study itself.  At your earliest convenience, we encourage you contact to Zveta by emailing to greysealstudy@intelligentgrowth.com in order to be included on Zveta’s distribution list for the study and also to schedule meetings and interviews.    You may also feel free to contact Suju Mahendrappa by phone, by calling or text messaging to (506) 461-4671.

We thank you in advance for your input and cooperation for this study, and for your continued support of the sealing and fur industries.
