March 6 – 2013      As reported by our friends at the Fur Institute of Canada (FIC),  the Canadian Senate (105 members)  has overwhelmingly voted in support of a commercial seal harvest and industry that includes it ‘s by-products also like meat and oils besides it’s fur. Without a doubt, the lopsided vote 104 – 1 sent a clear message once again to the animal rights misinformed  types that Canada will continue to lobby the WTO that the EU parliament was misinformed on the hard facts when it came to allowing the import and sale of seal products into it’s jurisdiction.
