Today the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans have invited the CSA to appear before the Committee, in regard to its Study of Bill C-555, an Act respecting the Marine Mammal Regulations (seal fishery observation licence), which was referred to the Committee on Thursday, May 28, 2014. Canadian Sealers Association executive director Frank Pinhorn will be appearing on behalf of the CSA. The hearing is scheduled for today, Wednesday, June 11,  at 3:30 p.m. -5.30 p.m.
