A U.S. judge ruled last month that some aspects of a civil lawsuit alleging bribery and obstruction of justice on the part of several non-profit organizations, including one frequently critical of the Canadian seal hunt, can proceed through the court system. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is among those defendants named in a suit filed by Feld Entertainment Inc., a company that produces a number of live shows, some of which use circus animals.
