There is an excellent opinion piece in a recent online post by CBC’s Newfoundland and Labrador news journalist Azzo Rezori regarding the no-show of legions of animal rights activists who make the futile misinformed annual pilgrimage to the North East Atlantic shores to protest the humane harvesting of seals. Mr. Rezori questions if there are other motives at play because of their decision not to travel north such as the power play in and around the EU Parliament building in Brussels.
