We read with great interest Bob Wakeham’s memories of his encounter with the late French actress and animal rights activist Bridget Bardot in a sharp witty piece for this week’s Telegram (Saltwire). Bob rightly points out that many commentators falsely claiming credit for “blowing the whistle” on the slaughter at the seal hunt. As we all well know, Bardot was heavily influenced by already established propaganda groups like Greenpeace and The International Fund for Animal Welfare famous for spewing forth their epic lies and myths about the hunt bent on it’s downfall no matter what made up stories they told.
